Our Emotional Health is a main player in happiness. I believe in the formula of EQ+MH=PH which means that our Emotional Quotient plus Mental Health is equal to our physical health so our physical health is not just taking care of our body but emotional and mental health too.


Follow this formula. First check your feelings and emotions. If you are feeling good you will have healthy positive thoughts if on the other hand you have negative feelings and are in a zone where you are encountering unhappiness then your thoughts would also be negative and would be of the shades of complaints or begrudging.


Emotional and mental health is super important for your physical health

Following are some ways you can change your Emotional Quotient instantly.

  1. Deep breathe: there is a method to deep breathe which helps in instantly feeling good. Keeping your mouth closed deep breathe from your nose and fill your stomach with as much air as possible and breathe out from the mouth as if you are whistling. You can make some sound also.

  2. Smile: The moment you smile your life will change. Try it now. When we smile there is an instant shift in the brain which sends signals to the body to relax as some good event is going to happen. The whole body starts waiting for that event. Well, if you smile more and speak to a friend or read something good the body will gets its treat.

  3. Look out of the window: Merely with this one act you will create a shift in your feelings from negative to positive as there would definitely be a new object that will catch your attention. Besides, the act of gazing out itself will bring you out of the confines of a dark cave that your negativity has created.

  4. Eat something that you life: Reach out for a healthy food that you have kept yourself away from for a long time. There is no harm in indulging when you are self bashing. In fact it is the time to pamper yourself and tell your brain that your main concern is caring for your good feeling places. However, remember to stay in control and eat in moderation.

  5. Make a call: Make a call to someone who you know would be helpful and will not judge you. During the grim times there is a need for mood uplifting people so call those people who are light heartened and who would not judge you.
